Field Trip
The field trip will be held Friday May 5th. We will visit the Old Town of Lunenburg on Nova Scotia’s beautiful south shore. Lunenburg is one of only two urban communities in North America designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to the world famous Bluenose II. Click here for the field trip itinerary.

Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will take place at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada. It gives visitors the opportunity to explore the history of the fortress and the soldiers who were stationed there. Walk within its walls, and literally touch a piece of Halifax’s history.

The goal of this GeoHab workshop is to offer software and hardware vendors an opportunity to showcase the latest and greatest innovations in ocean mapping tools to the seafloor geological and habitat mapping science community. The GeoHab 2017 Ice Breaker Reception
is a networking event to be held aboard the Harbour Queen, a fully licensed Mississippi-style sternwheeler that will take you on a cruise through the historic Halifax Harbour.
